After the Wars of Light and Shadow, I think the next Fantasy series I started was the Trillium Saga – a collaboration between Andre Norton, Julian May and Marion Zimmer Bradley. I found it at the library and I can’t remember anything about it, but I know I enjoyed it. I’ve recently been collecting old Fantasy series and this is one that I decided to collect. I still have one more to get, which is a little harder to find than the others.

That sticker on the cover from the local bookshop is really annoying and unfortunately doesn’t come off unless I want to wreck the front cover. But I found another copy for an equally good price and it’s on its way to me with some other books to complete series.
I’m not sure if I’ll still enjoy the series when I finally get around to rereading it, but I have high hopes given Julian May and Andre Norton are both masters of their craft. And the intervening almost 3 decades since I read these means it is essentially a new read for me. So again, I’ll be going in knowing only as much as is on the cover of the first book:
Late one stormy night three infant princesses are born. As each baby is placed into her mother’s arms, so the Archimage Binah bestows on her a gift of great power: a pendant containing a bud of the long-extinct Black Trillium. One day that power will be all that protects the princesses from certain doom.
