Bookshelf spotlight: The Girl in the Mirror

Welcome to the first instalment of Murder/Mystery Monday. These are going to be shared in a random order of read vs not and when I bought/read each book.

First up is a book by a New Zealand author, Rose Carlyle: The Girl in the Mirror.

Iris and Summer are twins, identical in every way except one. Summer has always been the favoured twin and Iris has long been jealous of her sister. And an insane clause in their father’s will also stirs the pot.

Iris is helping Summer sail her family yacht from Thailand to the Seychelles. But one morning she wakes up to find herself alone. After her initial panic of trying to find her sister, she continues on to Seychelles. Where she makes a decision that will have far reaching consequences. And that is all I’m going to tell you, because the less you know of this before you go into it, the better it will be.

This was a bookclub book, from August 2020. I think I gave it 4.5 stars.
